About Me
I Love A Good Story!Why I Do What I Do
Working in Hospice Palliative Care as a Chaplain in Calgary at the Agapé Hospice for 8 years helped me discover my passion for listening to the stories of people’s lives. I loved learning about their history, their families, their accomplishments, and the legacy they were leaving behind. While I didn’t know it at the time, I quickly learned that this was my life calling and what I was destined to do.
Since then, I have developed a career out of celebrating individual’s unique lives by listening to their stories, and sharing them. I believe in the importance of celebrating milestones in people’s lives, whether it is welcoming a new baby into the world, uniting two people together in a personal and meaningful wedding ceremony, or celebrating a life well lived. I am a trained Chaplain, a Certified Funeral Celebrant and an Appointed Marriage Commissioner for the Province of Alberta.
I recognize that it is a privilege to be part of so many monumental special occasions. I get to be there to help a family celebrate the good times and to offer comfort as they say good-bye to a loved one. Most importantly, I get to weave your story together into a meaningful celebration that will touch your heart and the hearts of the people that mean the most to you.

Other Parts Of My Life
I have been happily married to my husband Michael, celebrating 30 years of marriage this year. We have two sons who are now grown, and my only girl is a very active chocolate Labrador Retriever. My free time is filled outside in the garden, reading, quilting, travelling, family tree research, and golfing.
I am on the Board of Directors for the Wishing Well Wedding And Event Foundation, Canada’s first wish granting foundation that gifts weddings and events to individuals who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. I’m also a proud member of the Calgary Bridal Alliance , Calgary’s Event Core, and the Alberta Funeral Association.
